Anthony is privileged to teach music at Northmount School for Boys in Toronto. Students are introduced to actual music making right away, while also learning the theory and tradition they need to continue exploring music throughout their lives.
Workshops for Bands
Band teachers are usually busy doing a million things for their programs, and don't always have the time or expertise to fine tune each musical section. The world of percussion can, at times, seem especially mystifying. Having an experienced percussionist to answer students' questions, show them technique, and inspire them to delve deeper can make a world of difference to the overall sound of the band, and to the students' individual experiences with music.
Learning to play a musical instrument is possible for everyone. All it takes is consistent practice and some guidance. Learning music is more than just learning to make interesting sounds - it is a way of developing relationships.
