Anthony Savidge is a musician, composer, arranger, and educator based out of Toronto, Canada. He received a B.Mus. in percussion performance from Acadia University, and went on to study jazz and contemporary music at Humber College. Anthony is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, but his heart lies in the percussive realm. He is a founding member of the the Shaw Street Collective, with which he performs, composes, and arranges. He has played in many musical productions at venues such as Neptune Theatre in Halifax, the Chester Playhouse, and the Fredericton Playhouse. In 2015 he toured the East Coast of Canada as the drummer for HIGHS. Anthony has also played with the prestigious Ceremonial Guard Band on Parliament Hill and currently plays with the Band of the Royal Regiment of Canada in Toronto. A budding choral conductor, Anthony has been the musical director for the Communion & Liberation Choir of Toronto since 2016.
Anthony is known for his thoughtful and inspiring education methods, and currently serves as a music teacher at Northmount School for Boys in Toronto. He has also served as an instructor for the Canadian Forces Music Branch.
